Volleyball Recap: Del Campo Takes a Loss

Del Campo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Placer Hillmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hillmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on March 4th.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Placer scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-19.

Del Campo's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Placer, they moved to 5-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Del Campo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Nevada Union on the 1st. As for Placer, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Roseville on the 1st.
