Basketball Recap: Palmyra-Macedon Takes a Loss

Palmyra-Macedon made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Wayne, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 57-54 on Friday. The Red Raiders haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Palmyra-Macedon's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Wayne, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Palmyra-Macedon will face off against Newark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wayne, they will square off against Mynderse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
