Baseball Recap: Bark River-Harris Takes a Loss

Bark River-Harris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-2 to the Gladstone Braves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 last Saturday.

Bark River-Harris saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Nelson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Bark River-Harris' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Gladstone, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bark River-Harris will take on Superior Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gladstone, they will venture away from home to square off against Escanaba at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
