Volleyball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty managed to slip by Millennium the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Liberty lost 3-0 to Millennium on Wednesday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

While Liberty ultimately came up short, they really made Millennium work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 27-25, 25-21.

Liberty's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Millennium, they moved to 10-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Coming up, Liberty will venture away from home to face off against Shadow Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millennium, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Millennium Tigers face off against Coronado Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Coronado will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Millennium surely won't give up without a fight.
