Palo Alto has gone a perfect 3-0 against Mercy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vikings will look to defend their home court against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Palo Alto will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Palo Alto was able to grind out a solid win over Milpitas, taking the game 3-1.

Palo Alto had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 26-24, 25-21, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Mercy lost 3-0 to Sacred Heart Prep on Thursday.

Mercy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8, 25-23.

Mercy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Palo Alto, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Palo Alto came out on top in a nail-biter against Mercy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Bears' Amira Festejo Rivera, who had 19 digs.
