Recap: South Loup vs. Southern Valley Eagles
South Loup lost against the Southern Valley Eagles back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. South Loup took a serious blow against Southern Valley, falling 54-16. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points South Loup has scored all season.
Despite the loss, South Loup still got an impressive performance from Bryn Schwarz, who scored nine points. That was a full 56.3% of South Loup's points, marking the 16th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
South Loup has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Southern Valley, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 21-1.
South Loup didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-34 defeat vs. Anselmo-Merna on the 6th. Southern Valley has also already played their next game, a 58-15 victory against Gibbon on the 6th.
