Baseball Recap: Hebron Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hebron can now relate to. They lost 7-0 to the Boone Grove Wolves on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hebron got a good showing from Bruce Hallberg, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Hallberg hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2024.

Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11-1. As for Boone Grove, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-5.

As of now, neither Hebron nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
