Softball Recap: North Arlington Vikings vs. Teaneck Highwaymen

Teaneck hit North Arlington with a four-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highwaymen.

Cadence Mansfield put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits. Mansfield was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
