Barringer has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Nutley Maroon Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nutley took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Barringer, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Barringer earned a 50-40 victory over Weequahic.
Meanwhile, Nutley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 67-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eagle Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Barringer's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Nutley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
Barringer came up short against Nutley in their previous matchup on January 8th, falling 58-50. Can Barringer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
