Clinton County won the last time they faced Garrard County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Golden Lions. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won five games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Clinton County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Garrard County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Clinton County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 loss against Calloway County on the 9th. As for Garrard County, they will square off against North Laurel at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
