Basketball Recap: Teaneck Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Teaneck won the last time they faced Saddle River Day and things went their way on Monday too. The Teaneck Highwaymen came out on top against the Saddle River Day Rebels by a score of 67-57. Given the Highwaymen's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Rebels are ranked 146th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Teaneck is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points over those games. As for Saddle River Day, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Teaneck has already played their next match (against Tenafly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Saddle River Day, they will square off against Pioneer Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
