Softball Recap: Rock Island Rocks vs. Geneseo Maple Leafs
Geneseo typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Rock Island proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Maple Leafs. The win continues a trend for the Rocks in their matchups with the Maple Leafs: they've now won four in a row.

Lilly McDaniel made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.
