Loudoun County waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Broad Run Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Captains, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Loudoun County took Broad Run into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-17, 25-18, 21-25, 15-13.

Loudoun County's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Broad Run, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Broad Run will square off against Park View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Loudoun County will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' contest: after the Spartans face off against Freedom, they'll take on Loudoun County again at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
