Baseball Game Preview: SkyView Academy Hawks vs. Estes Park Bobcats

The SkyView Academy Hawks will challenge the Estes Park Bobcats at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. SkyView Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Estes Park will be coming in after a defeat.

Estes Park will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: SkyView Academy extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Hawks came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against Front Range Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hawks have posted since April 14th.

Meanwhile, Estes Park came up short against Dayspring Christian Academy on Thursday, falling 10-3. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Estes Park saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zec Moss, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

SkyView Academy pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Estes Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

SkyView Academy might still be hurting after the 10-4 loss they got from Estes Park in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
