Softball Recap: Monday's Win Is Hemlock's Third in Last Four Outings

Michigan Lutheran Seminary typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Hemlock proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 6-1. This was a revenge game for the Huskies: when they faced off against the Cardinals on Monday, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Hemlock has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hemlock will welcome New Lothrop at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, they will host Montrose at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
