It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Morton can now relate to. They fell just short of the Normal University Pioneers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Potters' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Normal University can attribute much of their success to Emma Jean Lehnen, who had 17 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Lehnen has posted since back in November of 2024.

Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 33-4. As for Normal University, the victory (which was their 27th in a row) raised their record to 35-4.

As of now, neither Morton nor the Pioneers have any future games scheduled.
