Soccer Game Preview: Central Lafourche vs. E.D. White

The Central Lafourche Trojans will take on the E.D. White Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Monday, Central Lafourche sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Thibodaux. Central Lafourche haven't had any issues with Thibodaux recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, E.D. White faced Mt. Carmel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Neither the Cardinals nor the Cubs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, E.D. White got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.

E.D. White's draw gives them a new season record of 10-6-4. As for Central Lafourche, their win bumped their record up to 14-7-4.
