Seminary extended their postseason success on Friday against St. Stanislaus. They skirted past the Rock-a-Chaws 5-3. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 9-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Slade Bullock was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

Bullock wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Stanley Peters, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits Peters has posted since back in March.

Seminary pushed their record up to 28-6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for St. Stanislaus, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-13.

Seminary will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rock-a-Chaws: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
