Falfurrias was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against IDEA Edinburg College Prep on Tuesday. The Fightin' Jerseys never let IDEA Edinburg College Prep get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Fightin' Jerseys have won 13 matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jax Garcia made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, RJ Ozuna was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Derek Chavera, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Falfurrias is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for IDEA Edinburg College Prep, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
