Volleyball Recap: Kerman Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Kerman had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Washington Union Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Kerman walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-9, 26-24.

Katharyn Shubin paced Kerman's offense, picking up 17 kills. Shubin got some help from Rebekah Evseff and her 27 assists. Anya Bakholdin controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Kerman's victory bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Washington Union, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-22-1.

Coming up, Kerman will venture away from home to challenge Sierra Pacific at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Washington Union, they will head out to face off against Reedley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
