Soccer Recap: Nimitz Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alief Elsik, Nimitz was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Randle Lions by a score of 5-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Nimitz's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Randle, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Nimitz will square off against MacArthur at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Nimitz is facing MacArthur at the right time seeing as MacArthur is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Randle, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Randle take on the Angleton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
