Baseball Recap: Christiana's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Christiana took a 18-run loss the last time they faced off against Laurel, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Bulldogs on Monday. The Vikings were shut out 18-0 the last time they took on the Bulldogs, so the Vikings were just returning the favor.

The win snapped Christiana's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-9 record. As for Laurel, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Looking ahead, Christiana will head out to take on ASPIRA Charter at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Laurel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sussex Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
