Volleyball Recap: DePue Little Giants vs. Newark Norsemen
DePue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Newark Norsemen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Little Giants of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-12.
DePue's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Newark, their victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-6.
DePue will square off against Quad Cities Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Newark, they will challenge Illinois Math & Science Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
