Hamlin has gone 9-1 against Webster recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hamlin Chargers will venture away from home to square off against the Webster Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. Webster took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Hamlin, who comes in off a win.

Hamlin is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Dakota's top teams: Sioux Valley, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Hamlin was ranked fourth). Hamlin skirted past Sioux Valley 62-59.

Meanwhile, Webster lost 53-27 to Clark/Willow Lake on Saturday. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Cyclones recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Hamlin's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Webster, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Everything came up roses for Hamlin against Webster in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 64-31 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hamlin since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
