Baseball Recap: Brewer Gets the Win

Brewer owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Fossil Ridge Panthers by a score of 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Not much got past Colton Ryals, who gave up just four hits to keep Fossil Ridge off the board.

At the plate, Brewer got a big performance out of Lucas Cantu, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Parker Mix, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Brewer's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 12-6. As for Fossil Ridge, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14-2.

Brewer will have a chance to go back-to-back against Fossil Ridge: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
