Softball Recap: Jackson-Reed Tigers vs. Roosevelt Roughriders

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson-Reed). They were the clear victors by a 21-10 margin over the Roosevelt Roughriders on Tuesday. With that win, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 8 runs per game.

Alex Nehrer was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three runs. Grace Harscheid was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-3.
