Volleyball Recap: Mabel-Canton's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Six + How To Watch

Mabel-Canton waltzed into their contest on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Cougars this season.

Mabel-Canton walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-17.

Mabel-Canton was led to victory by Lauren Burke and Livia Garness. Burke had four digs and three aces, while Garness had five digs. That's the most aces Burke has posted since back in August of 2024.

They weren't the only good server: Mabel-Canton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as LeRoy-Ostrander only served four aces.

Mabel-Canton's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Mabel-Canton has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lanesboro on the 28th. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Lyle/Pacelli on the 28th.
