Soccer Recap: Knoxville Central Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Knoxville Central after they claimed the first goal on Saturday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Father Ryan Irish by a score of 2-1.

Knoxville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1-1. As for Father Ryan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Knoxville Central will square off against Morristown-Hamblen West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Father Ryan will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ravenwood at 7:00 p.m. on March 20th.
