Soccer Recap: Apache Junction Comes Up Short

Apache Junction's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 4-0 to the ALA - Ironwood Warriors.

Apache Junction now has a losing record at 5-6-1. As for ALA - Ironwood, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apache Junction will venture away from home to square off against Benjamin Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Benjamin Franklin knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Apache Junction likes a good challenge.
