After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eastside, Vasquez was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Palmdale Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Falcons last Tuesday, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Vasquez's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Palmdale, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Vasquez will venture away from home to challenge St. Monica Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Palmdale, they will challenge Quartz Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
