Baseball Recap: Century Comes Up Short

Century was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Pocatello Thunder. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-4 on Wednesday.

Century saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CJ Short, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Century's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Pocatello, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-11 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Century beat Pocatello by a score of 15-14 on Thursday.
