For the first time ever, Jacob Hawkins turned in triple-digit rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 120 yards on only nine carries, helping propel Chamblee past Tri-Cities by a score of 21-6. We marked that as the best effort he's had all season, even better than his performance last Friday (when he picked up two sacks and made five total tackles (3.0 for loss)) (Gamescore: 21.5 vs. 20).

Hawkins and Chamblee will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dunwoody at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
