Basketball Game Preview: Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins vs. Catholic Crusaders

Cape Henry Collegiate and Catholic are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins are taking a road trip to face off against the Catholic Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Cape Henry Collegiate's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

On Saturday, Cape Henry Collegiate was able to grind out a solid win over Atlantic Shores Christian, taking the game 70-62.

Meanwhile, Catholic posted their closest victory since December 30, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Michael the Archangel, sneaking past 68-65. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Catholic's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Cape Henry Collegiate came up short against Catholic in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 64-53. Can Cape Henry Collegiate avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
