Soccer Game Preview: Eisenhower vs. Splendora

The Eisenhower Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Splendora Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

While Eisenhower fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's season opener. They never let Hardin-Jefferson onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Friday.

Meanwhile, Splendora waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Bulldogs. Fans of the Wildcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Eisenhower was able to grind out a solid victory over Splendora in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, winning 5-3. Does Eisenhower have another victory up their sleeve, or will Splendora turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
