Football Recap: Garrard County Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Garrard County finally came back down to earth on Friday. They took a blow against the Lexington Catholic Knights, falling 38-0. The loss continues a trend for the Golden Lions in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.

Garrard County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lexington Catholic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Garrard County is set to challenge their familiar foe Bardstown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lexington Catholic will face off against rival Mercer County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
