Volleyball Recap: Fortuna Comes Up Short

Fortuna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Patriots.

Heritage was led to victory by Gigi Ramones and Camy De La Chevrotiere. Ramones had 12 digs, while De La Chevrotiere had 18 assists and two aces. That's the most aces De La Chevrotiere has posted over her last three matchups.

Fortuna's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Heritage, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-9.

Fortuna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Ripon Christian on the 18th. As for Heritage, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Vacaville Christian on the 18th.
