Basketball Recap: Marlette Comes Up Short

Marlette was the 43-26 winner over Brown City when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Marlette Red Raiders took a hard 48-33 fall against the Brown City Green Devils on Friday.

Marlette's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Brown City, they moved to 7-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marlette will venture away from home to square off against Sandusky at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brown City, they will head out to face off against Ubly at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
