Baseball Recap: Clarendon Takes a Loss

Clarendon lost to Sanford-Fritch back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Broncos came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-3. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brentley Gaines made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kreed Robinson, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Clarendon now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Sanford-Fritch, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Clarendon will venture away from home to face off against Gruver at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Sanford-Fritch, they will welcome Boys Ranch at 4:30 p.m. on the 13th.
