Basketball Recap: Walnut Springs' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gorman, Walnut Springs was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 52-27 margin over Three Way. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

With the win, Walnut Springs broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-9. As for Three Way, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Iredell the next time they take the court. Three Way will host Iredell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Walnut Springs will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
