Softball Recap: Surry County Comes Up Short

Surry County and Rappahannock County squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Surry County had to settle for second. They came up short against Rappahannock County, falling 15-5.

Addyson Rogerson was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases.

Surry County dropped their record down to 8-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Rappahannock County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-15.

As of now, neither Surry County nor Rappahannock County have any future games scheduled.
