Greer hadn't done well against Blue Ridge recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Yellow Jackets came out on top against the Fighting Tigers by a score of 6-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 two weeks ago.

Greer's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Blue Ridge, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greer will venture away from home to square off against Woodmont at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Blue Ridge, they will head out to challenge Daniel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Fighting Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
