Football Recap: Cajon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 38 points the game before, Cajon was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a 23-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Jacinto Tigers. If the Cowboys were looking for revenge after losing 28-8 to the Tigers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Cajon saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Taylor Johnson made 17 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Cajon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for San Jacinto, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Coming up, Cajon will head out to face off against Permian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Jacinto, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Aquinas at 7:00 p.m.
