Pima had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They took their  game  with ease, bagging  a  47-6 victory over the Holbrook Roadrunners. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Roughriders also won the last time the pair played  back in November of 2023.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to  Rooster Alder and  Joe Palmer. Alder rushed for 113 yards and three  scores while  Palmer rushed for 83 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only seven carries. Palmer also  punched in two  rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Pima is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.
 One reason for the win was Pima's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.
Pima's record now sits at 7-4. As for Holbrook,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-5.
 Looking ahead, Pima will take on San Tan Charter at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Roughriders 10.1, the Roadrunners 11.7) so any  points scored will be well earned. Holbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
