Baseball Game Preview: Rehoboth Christian Lynx vs. Navajo Pine Warriors

Rehoboth Christian is on a seven-game streak of home losses, and Navajo Pine a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Rehoboth Christian Lynx will welcome the Navajo Pine Warriors at 11:00 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rehoboth Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 17 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Sandia Prep on Thursday. They came up short against the Sundevils, falling 11-2.

Zach VanDrunen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Navajo Pine lost 21-3 to Jemez Valley on Wednesday.

Navajo Pine saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dayshaun Chee, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. That double marked the first that Chee has hit this season.

Rehoboth Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Navajo Pine, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-19.

Everything went Rehoboth Christian's way against Navajo Pine in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Rehoboth Christian made off with a 17-1 win. Do the Lynx have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
