Football Recap: River Ridge Falls Despite Big Games from Jackson Goldsmith and Kaden Bauer + How To Watch

River Ridge came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Orangeville Broncos, falling 40-20. The Wildcats were down 34-12 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

River Ridge's loss came despite strong showings from Kaden Bauer and Jackson Goldsmith. Bauer threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns, while Goldsmith rushed for 63 yards and one score.

Hayden Schofield went supernova For Orangeville., rushing for 341 yards and five TDs while picking up 20.1 yards per carry. Those five rushing touchdowns gave Schofield a new career-high.

River Ridge now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Orangeville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
