Basketball Recap: Desert Christian Academy Picks Up 13th Consecutive Win

Desert Christian Academy had won 12 straight games and Augustine Youssef did his part to make it 13 on Wednesday. The Desert Christian Academy Conquerors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School Mustangs 91-52 thanks in part to Youssef, who shot 8-for-12 from deep and dropped a double-double on 48 points and ten boards. The game was his eighth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Reynolds, who posted 14 points and seven rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Desert Christian Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.8 points. As for Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.

As of now, neither Desert Christian Academy nor Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School have any future games scheduled.
