The Goliad Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Stockdale Brahmas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Goliad has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Goliad's victory against Karnes City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Goliad narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Karnes City 7-6. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Badgers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Cy Henke made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Henke was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.
