Lake Creek strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Huntsville Hornets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 back in March.

Lake Creek pushed their record up to 23-0 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Huntsville, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Lake Creek Lions challenge A&M Consolidated Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. A&M Consolidated will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lake Creek surely won't give up without a fight. As for Huntsville, they will take on College Station at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
