Basketball Recap: Konos Academy Extends Winning Streak to Three

Konos Academy entered their tilt with New Creation Christian Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Crusaders 41-25. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-36 last Friday.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Elisabeth Metz, who posted 11 points and seven boards. Metz continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Nevaeh Barry was another key player, putting up no points in addition to ten rebounds and five steals.

The win got Konos Academy back to even at 3-3. As for New Creation Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Konos Academy will host Springwood at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Creation Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lanier Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on December 4.
