The Lawrence-Nelson Raiders will face off against the Osceola Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lawrence-Nelson will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Lawrence-Nelson's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 64-0 victory over Giltner. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won five games by 22 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Wyatt Frey, who rushed for 70 yards and three TDs on only six carries, and also threw for 165 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. He has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last five times he's played. Jackson Williams was another key player, gaining 170 total yards and two touchdowns.
Lawrence-Nelson's run defense was locked in: Giltner could only muster two yards per carry. The team can thank Cooper Heikkinen for the heroic effort on defense: he. Lawrence-Nelson didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 17.4.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Osceola). They blew past Nebraska Christian, posting a 52-24 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Lawrence-Nelson better keep an eye on Jackson Winslow. He was instrumental in Osceola's win, rushing for 159 yards and four scores while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Those 159 rushing yards gave Winslow a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brycen Kula, who rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.
Lawrence-Nelson's record now sits at 7-1. As for Osceola, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Thursday's contest might be decided on the ground. Lawrence-Nelson has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 267.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Osceola struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 245.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Lawrence-Nelson was taken down by Osceola 52-14 in their previous meeting back in October of 2021. Thankfully for the Raiders, Isaiah Zelasney (who rushed for 157 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
